1. Introduction to the Dragon Boat Festival
The Dragon Boat Festival, also known as the Double Fifth Festival, is one of the four major traditional festivals in China, usually celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month. This festival has a long history and rich cultural connotations, mainly derived from the ancient Chinese people's worship of the dragon totem and the tradition of commemorating the ancient poet Qu Yuan. During the Dragon Boat Festival, people will participate in various celebrations, such as dragon boat racing, eating zongzi, hanging wormwood, etc. These activities not only enrich people's cultural life, but also bring joy and relaxation.
